Revised at 8:31 p.m. Feb. 16 to reflect an arrest.About 9 p.m. Tuesday, a man walked into the Desoto House of Peace & Community Center in the 500 block of West Belt Line Road and threatened congregants and their families, police said.
Police shared photos of the man in hopes of identifying him, and Thursday night they said they’d arrested Demarcus Lamont Brodie, 48, on a charge of making a terroristic threat. It was unclear whether he had an attorney.“I would like to thank our officers and detectives for working quickly and diligently to track this man down and get him off the street,” police Chief Joseph Costa said in a written statement. “He is no longer a threat to our community.”.
