CHATSWORTH – A man and a boy approximately 10 years old were found dead Tuesday night in Chatsworth in what police said could be a murder-suicide.
Police were called at approximately 8:19 p.m. to the 21000 block of Plummer Street near De Soto Avenue regarding a possible suicide, Los Angeles Police Department Deputy Chief Alan Hamilton told reporters at a media briefing. Earlier news reports stated that the bodies were found inside a vehicle but Hamilton clarified that police found a man and a boy outside of the vehicle.Asked how police determined that it was murder-suicide, Hamilton answered that it was the department’s “working theory.”
Hamilton also did not answer if the two victims were father and son, saying only “We believe there is a familial relationship.”Related Articles
