A man who assaulted the mother of two children before taking the kids on Monday morning is now charged with interference with the custody of children and other offenses, according to Harrisburg police. Police were approached by a woman around 8 a.m. Monday, who said she was assaulted and identified Keion Griffin as her attacker. She also said he had left with her two children, ages one and three, police said.

Officers began searching for Griffin and the children, and found them in an apartment on Hale Avenue, police said. If you purchase a product or register for an account through one of the links on our site, we may receive compensation.
