Man found dead near Antioch school suffered trauma from possible explosive device, police say

UPDATE: Police say the deceased man found near a Antioch school Monday had suffered trauma from a possible improvised explosive device.

Bomb squad and K9 were called to help in the investigation and to sweep the nearby schools.

Residents in the areas of F Street between 11th Street and 17th Street are asked to stay inside their residences and lock all windows and doors.Antioch police are asking to report any suspicious activities at 925-778-2441.
