A man is in critical condition after a shooting at a Medical Center apartment complex, according to San Antonio police.
SAPD officers responded to multiple calls of shots being fired in the 7000 block of Oak Manor Drive on Monday evening.
Upon arrival, officers found a man between the ages of 20 and 25 lying on the ground by an apartment door with a gunshot wound. The man has been transported to an area hospital and is in critical condition. It is believed that the man was shot in either the head or chest region, according to SAPD. A long gun and handgun were found at the scene, but it is unclear which weapon was used during the shooting.
Police say a man was detained at the property. Investigators are also speaking with the victim’s girlfriend.
