Guerley Edouard, 28, of Roselle, was pronounced dead at Trinitas Regional Medical Center, authorities said.
The other two victims, a 23-year-old woman and three-year-old girl, were treated for their gunshot wounds at University Hospital and are currently listed in stable condition, prosecutors said.
