ALAMOSA COUNTY, Colo — A man will spend the rest of his life in prison for murdering five people in the San Luis Valley area of Colorado in 2020.

Adre Baroz, 29, was sentenced to life in prison Friday for crimes he pleaded guilty to earlier this year, which include five counts of first-degree murder and five counts of tampering with a deceased human body. The other charges are as follows:Baroz, who was given the nickname"Psycho," dumped his victims' bodies near the New Mexico border after killing them, prosecutors said.

His victims were Korina Arroyo, 31, of Monte Vista; Selena Esquibel, 19, of Alamosa; Xavier Zeven Garcia, 24, of Saguache; Myron Martinez, 31, of Del Norte and Shayla Hammel, 34, of Alamosa.reported by the Denver Gazette Adre Baroz's codefendants, 41-year-old Francisco"Pancho" Ramirez and 33-year-old Julius Baroz, also pleaded guilty in connection to the murders.
