Mitchell Ocker-Mullen admitted when he pleaded guilty in federal court he possessed five improvised hand grenades.

Ocker-Mullen did not dispute the prosecutor’s summation and pleaded guilty to a charge of possession of unregistered firearms Ocker-Mullen and an unnamed individual enjoyed playing “Call of Duty,” a first-person shooting game. On one occasion the two went to a densely wooded area near Centre Hall where he lit the fuse to each grenade and threw them off a cliff but only one detonated.

An FBI search of his home the following day resulted in the recovery of two AR-15 pistols, an AR kit, a maglite suppressor and gun components.began when the owner of Hunters Warehouse in Bellefonte on Oct. 26, 2020, reported to borough police suspicions about Ocker-Mullen, described as a frequent customer.
