‘Praise God it’s not worse than it was.’ Police say a man tried to stab two Philadelphia police officers with a screwdriver at the 39th District in Nicetown on Wednesday. A third officer shot the man. NewsWakisha reports.
PHILADELPHIA – Philadelphia police are investigating after an officer shot a man inside the 39th District Headquarters. This is after they say a man attempted to stab an officer with a screwdriver.
One of the officers suffered injuries to the back of the head. The officer had injuries to his arm, elbow and hand. It’s not clear if either officer was stabbed.
