San Antonio Police investigate the scene of a shooting between officers and a man at Arnold Park by Gillette Boulevard and South Zarzamora Street on Wednesday. Two police officers, who responded to calls about gunshots in the area, returned fire when he shot at them. A caller told police that the man, 23, who has not been identified by authorities, was firing shots at about 12:30 p.m. from Arnold Park, 1011 Gillette Blvd, toward a neighborhood.About two and a half minutes later, two officers drove up to the man as he was standing on a sand volleyball court.The officers got out of their police vehicle and fired back, hitting the man at least once, Police Chief William McManus said.
