Police responded about 11:45 p.m. to a shooting call in the 300 block of South Boulevard, west of South Malcolm X Boulevard, where they found Johnathan Jones wounded. Officers provided first aid until Dallas Fire-Rescue took Jones to a hospital, where he died. Authorities believe Jones was shot during an argument that began after the shooter crashed into his car.
