Man struck by car found lying dead in south Houston road, police say
Houston police officers received a call from a driver around 12 a.m. who reported seeing the man unresponsive in the 1000 block of Palm Street and the 5100 block of Fannin, Lt. Jason Roseman said. At first glance, the driver reported that the man looked like he'd been shot, but Medics later determined that he died from vehicular impact.
Houston police are investigating after a man who'd been struck by a car was found dead Saturday morning on a south Houston road.The vehicle involved in the possible hit-and-run was not found at the scene, Roseman said. Officers canvassed the area looking for cameras to see if there was any footage of what may have happened, he said.
The deceased man appears to be in his 30s or older, Roseman stated. No witnesses have come forward yet, he said.
