Legendary Red Devils will take on TV-famous Red Dragons during a summer friendly at San Diego's new stadium
Snapdragon Stadium will host high-profile international soccer when Manchester United faces Wrexham AFC in a Snapdragon Stadium exhibition game on July 25.
“Just looking at this stadium on this beautiful day here in San Diego, it’s easy to see why this is a great place for the tour,” said Manchester United ambassador Andy Cole, who played six seasons for the club, scoring 93 goals. “I imagine this will be an attractive place for other European clubs to visit for preseason tours going forward.”
The club, nicknamed “The Red Dragons” has gained a large social media following in the United States, where a growing base of fans have increasingly begun to stream games online.
