Ready to catch a spectacular sunset? Well, break out the camera because Manhattanhenge returns today.

If you’re unfamiliar with the eye-catching event, Manhattanhenge happens twice a year – around May 29 and 30, and again around July 11 and 12 – where people in New York City look for Manhattanhenge. The phenomenon happens when the sunset aligns perfectly on east-west oriented streets of Manhattan,Each Manhattanhenge is actually two days, where two sets of aligned sunsets are centered on the summer solstice.

So, if you missed the last event in May, you can be sure to catch this one on July 11 at 8:20 p.m. and tomorrow, July 12 at 8:21 p.m.American Museum of Natural History , the best streets to view Manhattanhenge in Manhattan are 14th Street, 23rd Street, 34th Street, 42nd Street and 57th Street. You can also view the phenomenon from the Tudor City Overpass in Manhattan and Hunter’s Point South Park in the Long Island City neighborhood of Queens.

And don’t expect to be the only one there to catch the special event as many are advised to head out early because crowds usually gather at these prime locations each year.
