Delano Burkes, 26, went missing after leaving a Heights-area bar
An uptick in public awareness surrounding Burkes’ disappearance led to volunteers and law enforcement fielding a host of tips over the weekend, Jeffley said. But none of those tips as of Monday had generated any real movement in the case, she said. Searchers received lots of tips over the weekend about possible sightings of Burkes downtown and everywhere south down to Tuam Street, Edwards said.
Burkes, 26, was last seen early Nov. 12 leaving McIntyre’s bar, 1230 W. 20th St., according to the Houston Police Department. His younger sister, Pecci Burkes, said Delano was out with friends watching a UFC fight on Nov. 11 when he disappeared.
