The attacks took place over the course of a little more than an hour — from 8:07 p.m. to 9:17 — in neighborhoods east of downtown San Diego.
A man is believed to have shot “randomly” at three groups of people Friday night in San Diego, killing one person and wounding three, police say.
When officers suspected the attacks were related, they “saturated the area” searching for the shooter and his car, the police report said. At 9:45, a suspect was arrested without incident. The suspect is a 22-year-old man from San Diego’s Lemon Grove neighborhood, in the area of the shootings.p.m., 3100 Dovecrest Court, Spring Valley. Shots fired; nobody was struck.p.m., 6200 Akins Avenue, Encanto. The shooter fired at four boys, ages 15 and 16. Two were struck; both are expected to survive.p.m., 1800 Manzana Way, Bay Terraces.
