Matt Gaetz’s , which calls for an end to all US military and financial aid to Ukraine and demands a peace deal with Russia to be explored. The topic of continued US military aid to Ukraine has created a rift in the Republican Party, with House Speaker Kevin McCarthy and many of his supporters backing it, while several far-right Republicans have come out against continued US-taxpayer funding for the Ukrainian military.
