Comic-Con International’s biggest night, Saturday, lived up to expectations as Marvel Studios sent fans into a frenzy.
Marvel made waves in 2019 with so many announcements that half of what was previewed hasn’t even come out yet. The Saturday event was extra special because Covid-19 paused the in-person convention for two years and Marvel largely avoided the online versions.Logo for a new “Avengers” movie from Marvel Studios was announced Saturday night in Hall H at San Diego Comic-Con International.
“Guardians of the Galaxy” is one of Marvel’s most successful film properties and is gearing up for its third chapter to be released in May 2023. One interesting part of the trailer, and director James Gunn’s comments, was that much of the new film will focus on the origin of lovable raccoon member, Rocket Raccoon. We even saw images of young Rocket and the Internet has already decided to call him “Baby Rocket.”The cast of the new “Black Panther” movie at San Diego Comic-Con on Saturday night.
