The Marvels is giving its three main heroes brand-new costumes, though this ruined one that was already perfect – however, a theory explains why the MCU changed that specific costume. After a long wait since the release of Captain Marvel in 2019, its sequel, The Marvels, is finally arriving as part of Phase 5 of the sprawling Marvel movie timeline.
Now, Kamala’s new suit in The Marvels could have also been created to protect her identity now that she will be working with other superheroes and at a much bigger scale. Just like Spider-Man’s Stealth Suit, Ms. Marvel’s new look is similar to her original one but with more design, brighter colors, and it looks a lot more similar to Captain Marvel’s suits.
