Former Ohio State wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. is among the prospects who have accepted invitations to attend the 2024 NFL draft.
The former Ohio State wide receiver, who is widely projected to be the first non-quarterback selected in this year’s draft, is among 13 prospects who have accepted invitations to attend the draft, which begins two weeks from tonight on April 25 in Detroit’s Campus Martius Park.It marks the third straight year that Ohio State will have at least one prospect in attendance at the NFL draft. Harrison is a near-unanimous pick in NFL mock drafts to be a top-five selection in this year’s draft, which would make him the highest-drafted Ohio State wide receiver ever, breaking the record set by Terry Glenn as the No. 7 overall pick in 1996. “Route Man Marv” will become the fourth Ohio State wide receiver in three years to be a first-round pick, joining Wilson , Olave and Smith-Njigba .
Harrison leads an NFL draft class from Ohio State that also includes defensive tackle Mike Hall, tight end Cade Stover, linebackers Tommy Eichenberg and Steele Chambers, safety Josh Proctor, offensive lineman Matt Jones, wide receiver Xavier Johnson and running back Miyan Williams. Harrison is projected to be Ohio State’s only first-round pick this year.
The 2024 NFL draft kicks off on Thursday, April 25 at 8 p.m. The second and third rounds of the draft will be held on Friday, April 26 beginning at 7 p.m. The final four rounds of the draft will be held on Saturday, April 27 beginning at noon. All seven rounds of the draft will be broadcast on ABC, ESPN, NFL Network, ESPN Deportes and NFL+.
