Maserati is ending V-8 engine production.
The Maserati V-8's passing will be celebrated by two special-edition cars, the Ghibli 334 Ultima and the Levante V8 Ultima. The company has yet to unveil any specs or performance figures on the two vehicles, with a full reveal planned at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in July.
The Italian sports car maker has been making V-8s since 1959, when its first V-8-powered car, the 5000GT, entered production. Currently, the company sells three vehicles available with V-8 engines: the
