Police are looking for a gunman who opened fire on a group of people in an apartment complex in Tulare.

Initial reports say the shootings started around 10:20 p.m. during a celebration of life in an apartment complex across from a skatepark in Tulare. When police arrived at the apartment complex, the scene was chaotic with 50-60 people rushing from the area, Tulare Sgt. Ed Hinojosa said.A 7-year-old girl was also shot multiple times, Hinojosa said. The child was transported to a hospital in Madera in serious condition.
