Just before 8 p.m. on Friday, D.C. Police officers responded to the Wawa in the 4500 block of 40th Street, NW, in Tenleytown, for a "disorderly affray" involving roughly 300 juveniles, officials said. An affray is defined as "fighting by mutual consent of two or more people in some public place to the disturbance of others," according to the
Upon police arrival, the massive group dispersed from the immediate area. There are no known injuries due to the brawl.However, neither of the schools nor police have confirmed any student's involvement in the fight.
