Matt Jones will use his final year of eligibility and return to Ohio State for the 2023 season.
“It kind of slowed me down and kind of broke me down a little bit to see that I wasn’t out there to be side to side with my brothers,” Jones said of the injury before the Peach Bowl. “I know it’s a missing puzzle to the offense, and now that I’m here having another opportunity, it really means a lot.”
When talking with reporters prior to the Peach Bowl, Jones stopped short of saying he was fully satisfied with his 2022 season. He'll look to build on his season in his last go-around in Columbus.
