UPDATE: A Memphis Police Officer who was shot by an Indianapolis man at a library has died from his injuries. Officer Geoffrey Redd is also a Marine Corps veteran.
Police said Saturday that Officer Geoffrey Redd died “despite the best efforts” by staff at the hospital where he was being treated.Tennessee Bureau of Investigation spokeswoman Keli McAlister Torence Jackson Jr. of Indianapolis shot Redd.
