Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum said Thursday the country has a plan to receive any of its citizens deported from the U.S., Reuters reported.

She also reportedly said during the press conference Mexico will try to show that its citizens living illegally in the U.S. help the American economy. “We have the worst border in the history of the world. There’s never been a border like this,” he said. “And I want to be the border president, and I hope you call me the border president because I’ll show you what a border security job we can do. And we’re gonna do a job like never has been done before.”
