Shannon Dawson accepted the criticism for the Hurricanes’ decision to run an additional play in Saturday’s loss.

Moments later, Miami’s costly turnover set up a 44-yard game-winning touchdown pass from Haynes King to Christian Leary. In Monday’s news conference, Dawson took ownership behind the team making the “wrong decision” in Saturday’s loss.“I called it . It is what it is. What we did at the end was the wrong decision,” Dawson said,. “I called the play, and I can live with it. … wish we would have done something different, but we didn’t.
