‘California is a foodie’s dream come true,’ Michelin director says
The Michelin stars were awarded Monday to California restaurants, with 12 of the Bay Area’s top-tier restaurants judged as performing at their three-star or two-star level. Six restaurants joined the ranks of the one-star honorees: Four in San Francisco and two in Wine Country.
“California is a foodie’s dream come true,” said Gwendal Poullennec, international director of the Michelin Guides, said in his announcement.
