Ok, Kerry Washington's prom photo is TOO sweet. And she's sharing it for the best reason.
It's not every day you get to see your favorite celebrities sharing their prom photos, but on Tuesday, many of them began sharing pictures from the high school rite of passage, all for a good cause. of herself posing with her date in the early '80s, wearing a pink satin polka-dotted dress with a matching jacket.
"Throwing it back to my 1982 prom night and this pink satin, polka-dotted dress," she wrote, encouraging students and teachers to join the Prom Challenge in partnership with MTV and non-profit organization When We All Vote to help register students to vote. Soon enough, others began joining in with their prom photos to spread the word — including Tracee Ellis Ross, who shared a photo of herself getting ready for her prom in 1990 at age 18, wearing a Giorgio Armani dress .
