MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell was reportedly denied entry to Canada Tuesday evening as he attempted to provide supplies to the Freedom Convoy protesters.
Lindell, who hails from Minnesota, and an accompanying videographer were traveling to Ottawa, Canada, to distribute “pillows and Bibles” to convoy protesters, an unidentified senior government source told the National Post. Additionally, the source also said a MyPillow truck carrying “over 10,000 pillows,” including 1,000 “Bible pillows” for the truckers' children, was intercepted as it tried to cross the Ambassador Bridge leading to Windsor, Ontario.
The senior government source said Lindell was turned back because he was not fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and did not have a negative PCR test with him. The truck carrying the pillows and Bibles was also denied entry into Canada because the trucker did not have a valid pre-arrival PCR test, the source added.
Right Side Broadcasting Network based in Auburn, Alabama, had hoped to cover the distribution of the trucker's supplies, according to a statement released by RSBN. However,"due to COVID-19 protocols," RSBN's crew was denied access to Canada and returned to the United States.— RSBN 🇺🇸 February 15, 2022 Lindell is a staunch supporter of former President Donald Trump and has been a big booster of claims of widespread fraud in the 2020 election.
