Mike Posner explains why he endorsed Bernie Sanders for president
In a video uploaded to Sanders' Instagram page on Friday , Posner announced his endorsement. The clip shows the crooner at a recent rally performance, chanting,"It's not me, us," with the crowd.
"This campaign is really not about Bernie Sanders," Posner says in the clip."I’m not here to kiss Bernie Sanders’ feet. I don’t think he’s the second coming of Christ. I don’t worship him and I don’t think most people here worship him. They agree with where he stands on the issues, and what he says he’s going to do. Period.", and how it impacted his life.
Posner has been a longtime supporter of Sanders, and has performed at rallies including one in Denver last month. See his endorsement announcement below.
