Media reports said a second service member died over the weekend at Canyon Lake; however, a representative with JBSA said that person is a civilian.

Authorities are investigating after a service member was found dead on Joint Base San Antonio-Fort Sam Houston. Officials with the base have released few details but said the individual was found just before 7 p.m. Saturday night. They have not released how the individual died or what branch of the military they served with.over the weekend at Canyon Lake; however, a representative with JBSA said that person is a civilian and is not affiliated with JBSA.
