Mini is reportedly working on plans to build EVs in the U.S., in part to sidestep tariffs imposed on made-in-China vehicles. Auto123 has more.

Mini unveiled the new generations of its Cooper and Countryman models at the Munich Motor Show this week.

In an interview with Automotive News, Mini VP for the Americas Michael Peyton said the company does plan to bring these models to the U.S., and that more details will be shared in the fourth quarter of this year.
