The “priority” High Schools in Mobile County Public School System are: Citronelle High, LeFlore High, Vigor High, and Williamson High. According to data from the Alabama Department of Education, the budget difference between priority high schools and non-priority is nearly $6 million per year. The average yearly budget for the four priority high schools is $10.3 million while the non-priority schools’ average budget is $16.0 million.Overall, Middle Schools in Mobile County performed better in 2023 when compared to 2022 with 13 schools improving their score and only three receiving a lower grade.
