“I don’t wear anything on my curls," Argañaraz said with a smile. "I just go to sleep when it’s just a little bit wet. If I wash in the morning, they’re too fluffy—too clean." And while that sums it up on most days, there is hope yet for those in search of a replicable trick to achieve tousled waves. Upon further digging, Argañaraz revealed that when her curls need an extra pick me up, she heads to the drugstore. But not towards the hair care aisle...
Her "secret" weapon? Nasal spray. Yes, as in the saline solution. "Once I realized my hair looks best when I’m by the sea, I thought, 'Why don’t I just put salt water?'" she explains. "It actually works! I buy the cheap one at the pharmacy for like one euro and put it in my hair when it’s wet. Not too much, just a little bit, gives it nice texture!"—is right.
