“I know that he wasn’t wearing his seatbelt. That was my biggest fight with him,” she said. “Well mom, if I wear a seatbelt, that could kill me if I ever got in an accident,” he would tell her. “You almost question, if he did have his seatbelt on, there’s a possibility that he could still be here.” Her son had told her his Scion needed work, so a mechanical issue could have been a factor, she speculated.
