The monsoon is fast approaching with an official start date of June 15! As part of monsoon awareness week, we’re breaking down everything you need to know to protect your family, and your home, ahead of monsoon storms.
We live in arguably the most beautiful desert in the world, the Sonoran Desert, which stretches from Central Arizona down into Mexico.
In previous years, we tracked dew point temperatures to see when enough moisture had arrived to call it the monsoon. The average start date was July 7, usually lasting through mid-September.
