A Montgomery man has been charged with attempted murder in connection with a stabbing at a busy downtown Aurora bar Friday evening, police said.
Patrick Lerette, 26, of the 100 block of Sherman Avenue, has been charged with attempted murder, aggravated battery causing bodily harm, aggravated battery with a deadly weapon and aggravated battery in a public property, all felonies, Aurora police said Sunday morning in a news release.Police responded to reports that someone had been stabbed inside a business in the 100 block of West Downer Place shortly before 8 p.m. Friday, officials said.
