Guests will be able to explore the zoo and witness the animals interacting with a variety of creative and stimulating activities. This year’s theme is video games.
Zoo officials say the goal of this day is to replicate behaviors that animals experience in their native habitat.In addition to Animal Enrichment Day, the Montgomery Zoo is hosting its Spring Magical Creatures Education Program from 10:00 a.m. to noon that day. This creative and educational event allows children and families to get up close and personal with animals from some very magical movies like Harry Potter and The Hobbit. Children will learn about these incredible animals and their habitats while also getting to take home special prizes. Activities include a classroom lesson, live animal presentations, and making a little bit of magic.
Admission for the event is $34 per child for non-members and $20 per child for Montgomery Zoo Members. Accompanying parents/older children is $18 per person or free for Montgomery Zoo members. Advance registration is required. All participants must be registered by Friday, May 17 at noon. Tickets will not be available at the door.Man charged with shooting into Montgomery garbage truck
