More luxury apartments are in the works near Jacksonville's St. Johns Town Center. Here's when they are expected to open.
The apartments will feature screened patios, a washer and dryer, stainless steel appliances, walk-in closets and shaker-style cabinets. The building with have three elevators. Plans also call for a six-story parking garage, the FaverGray website shows.Construction began in May 2022 and is moving ahead on schedule, FaverGray Executive Vice President Ben Hinson, and Jimmy O'Leary, project manager, told the Times-Union in an email.
The site work is 95 percent done, the parking garage has been completed, slabs also have been done and the framing is 50 percent done, they said. The estimated total construction cost is $60 million. The 502,681-square-foot community is scheduled to be completed in July 2024, according to Hinson and O'Leary.
The Aston at Town Center is FaverGray's first project with Eastwind. However, the contractor recently started its second with the developer — — in Altamonte Springs near Orlando. The Aston at Uptown is a 261-unit luxury apartment community scheduled for completion next year, according to Eastwind's website.Location: 4.6 acres between St.
