Much of New Jersey — including Atlantic, Burlington, Camden, Cape May, Cumberland, Gloucester, Hunterdon, Mercer, Middlesex, Morris, Ocean, Salem, Somerset, Sussex and Warren counties — as well as northern Delaware and eastern Pennsylvania will be under a flood watch throughout the day, according to the National Weather Service.
An approaching front will result in numerous showers and thunderstorms capable of heavy rainfall, with amounts totaling 1 to 2 inches for most of New Jersey and localized amounts of 3 to 5 inches possible in areas where thunderstorms are more persistent,
