Former President Donald Trump, the presumptive presidential nominee of the Republican Party, is running for president again this year.
Scarborough, a frequent critic of the former president, compared the multitude of university protests to the demonstrations against the Vietnam War that took place in the 1960s, which turned his parents from lifelong Democrats to Republicans. He added that his parents, who grew up in the“If you’re offended by this, please, I’m trying to help you,” Scarborough said. ”I don’t want Donald Trump to get elected, all right? I’m trying to help you.
