Earlier Sunday evening, NWS Fort Worth had issued a severe thunderstorm watch for multiple North Texas counties, including Dallas, Tarrant and Parker.
Monique Sellers, a NWS Fort Worth meteorologist, said officials were tracking a potentially severe storm in Parker County. Weaker thunderstorms were detected in parks of Dallas and Tarrant counties, Sellers said. Storms are moving “generally eastward,” but weather conditions could change through the evening, Sellers said.
