Musk suggests new Twitter purchase price be based on number of real accounts
Musk threw another caveat into his bid to purchase Twitter on Saturday, suggesting that the price be adjusted based on the percentage of fake accounts on the social media platform.
Conservative commentator Ian Miles Cheong posed the idea of cutting the Twitter purchase price: “If 25% of the users are bots then the Twitter acquisition deal should cost 25% less."When asked if Twitter had revealed “how many real active users” the platform had, Musk criticized the social media platform’s tight-lipped stance. No, they still refuse to explain how they calculate that 5% of daily users are fake/spam! Very suspicious.
Musk has asked Twitter CEO Parag Agrawal to"show proof” that the spam or fake accounts are, in fact, less than 5%, as previously disclosed.CLICK HERE TO READ MORE FROM THE WASHINGTON EXAMINER A 25% reduction of Musk’s $44 billion deal to buy Twitter would lower the purchase price to $33 billion and the price per share from $54.20 to $40.65.
