CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Roll for initiative: Several Cleveland Browns players will take part in nerdy fun when they compete in a Dungeons & Dragons one-shot game for charity.
The fantasy role-playing game is set to take place at Tabletop Board Game Cafe, 7-10 p.m. on May 26. Tickets are availableDefensive end Myles Garrett, fullback Johnny Stanton and offensive lineman Wyatt Teller are all scheduled to play, along with two other guests that will be announced. Youngstown’s Brandon Tharp, aka TikTok starThe event’s D&D game will be a miniature adventure, as opposed to a long-term campaign.
Tharp posts videos about his “Dungeons & Dragons” experiences to more than 300,000 followers, and talked a bit about his plan for the one-shot game in. The organizer mentioned that the players might find things a bit challenging, since he’s drawn on the dark smash-hit video game “Elden Ring” for inspiration.
“Sitting here working on the one-shot, of the notes and different encounters I’m going to use, I just realized something: I have been playing too much ‘Elden Ring’ lately,” Tharp said in a video. “So Johnny, I’m really sorry. I really hope that you and the others are ready. I can imagine the headlines: Local DM TPKs amazing party at charity one-shot for Red Nose Day.”.
