A Passaic County man died Tuesday when the pickup truck he was driving crashed into a utility pole in West Milford, authorities said. Gary Bartholomew, 77, of the Hewitt section of the township, struck the pole about 8:15 a.m. in the area of Lakeshore Drive, according to Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and West Milford Police Chief James DeVore.The investigation is ongoing.
