Jeremy Arrington, 31, was convicted in the murders of Aerial Little Whitehurst, 8, Al-Jahon Whitehurst, 11, and Syasia McBurroughs, 23, of Cedar Knolls.

Prosecutors said Arrington broke into the Whitehurst home armed with a loaded firearm and tied up the people inside the apartment. The children were taken to University Hospital in Newark, where they were pronounced dead. McBurroughs died at the scene.
