A 30-year-old New Jersey man who repeatedly slammed a door on his girlfriend’s cat, injuring the animal so badly it had to be euthanized, has been sentenced to four years in state prison.
The cat was euthanized after veterinarians learned all of its limbs were “broken beyond repair or treatment,” officials said.
