A 77-year-old man died after being hit Thursday morning in Easton, Pennsylvania, police said.

Michelle Mackey, 61, faces involuntary manslaughter, accidents involving death or serious injury and careless driving in the case, police said in a news release. Information on bail was not immediately available.

Easton police said the 77-year-old man was hit by a vehicle at about 10:45 a.m. on Larry Holmes Drive south of Northampton Street, near Scott Park. The driver fled the area. The man later died at the hospital, police said. Authorities said his identity would be released pending notification of his family.
