Utah school board member Natalie Cline recently addressed her decision to post a photo questioning the gender of a Utah high school girl's basketball player.

In an exclusive interview with 2News reporter Brian Mullahy on Friday, Cline began by offering an apology for the unintended negative outcomes of the post. "I am deeply sorry for any hard feelings or negative outcomes from that post," Cline said. "If I had thought it would go in that direction, I would never have made the post."

Cline said that the girl involved was absolutely an innocent victim, and she felt terrible about the situation.
